ASTORIA — A building in Astoria is seeing two new businesses open: a Berkshire Hathaway location and local artist Meghann Hanour’s new studio.
Wendy Hemsley of Berkshire Hathaway said she hopes the new office, located at 441 30th St., will help her better collaborate with the community to address the affordable housing crisis.
“I just enjoy people, and real estate. Getting the right people aligned together, that’s where the magic happens. That’s the goal,” Hemsley said.
Hanour is an Astoria-based painter and designer.
