Help wanted

Businesses on the coast have struggled to hire new employees this year.

Young people are the backbone of any successful business.

They have energy, a zest for doing and are willing to take risks in order to boost the company.

Know someone like this?

Coast River Business Journal is seeking submissions for a special spread in next month’s issue focusing exclusively on young professionals working on the North Coast.

These are young people working in any business setting, from health care and automotive, to banking, insurance, retail, restaurants, real estate, agriculture and other industries.

The business journal is focusing on young professionals ages 18 to 40.

Submissions should be for those working on the north Oregon Coast and Long Beach Peninsula.

If you are a manager or someone who has worked closely with someone like this over the last year, send us a submission under 100 words about what makes that person special and how they’ve had a significant, positive impact on your company.

Send us a photo with your submission to editor@crbizjournal.com. The deadline to participate is Friday, Dec. 3.

While many have sacrificed so much and others have had a difficult time hiring new employees, tell us about the ones that make your business work.

They’re the future of our North Coast economy.
