• At 1:36 a.m. Friday, Lisa Louise Chavez, 45, of Seaside, was arrested by Astoria police on U.S. Highway 101 and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, possession of methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine and reckless driving.


• At 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Zane Belshe, 56, was arrested by Warrenton police on Second Street and Marlin Avenue and charged with second-degree robbery, menacing, third-degree theft and disorderly conduct. Belshe allegedly stole $95 worth of property from Fred Meyer. After an employee confronted him, he allegedly said he had a gun and threatened to shoot people in the store. He fled the scene and was arrested minutes later. While witnesses initially reported that Belshe pulled a gun out near the gas pumps, police did not locate one.
